| What is Naturopathic Medical Practice?
The Naturopathic physician is a primary care provider, trained in preventive medicine through Naturopathic therapeutics. The Naturopathic physician is trained in conventional medical sciences, utilizing the same laboratory and diagnostic techniques, examination and assessment criteria, but are specialists in the use of Natural and preventative medicine. |
1. Doctor of Naturopathic Medicine program (NMD)
This is a 4 or 5-year program depending on the qualification of the student. More details of the program and the pre-requisites for admission can be found here.
2. Integrative
Naturopathic Medical Training Program
This is a special program for advanced candidates. Applicants possessing a D.O., M.D., D.C., D.D.S., D.P.M., or O.M.D., and who are legally-eligible for licensure can receive advanced placement credit for prior studies, allowing the doctor of naturopathic medicine (N.M.D.) degree program to be completed in 5 quarters (15 months). 3. Master of Science Degree Program In Integrative Health Studies
This program is designed as a professional enhancement for conventionally- prepared health and mental health practitioners, and others, who desire a theoretical and practical knowledge base. It has been developed in consultation with a broad array of experts in Integrative Health Studies, including professionals in practice, education, and related health care industries.
